Decided to go with more of a mythological theme today:

Sisyphus 22-5-13

According to Greek legend, Sisyphus was the first king of Ephyra. As punishment for a reign of greed and deceit, he was ordered to push a boulder up a hill; a task that he could never complete as the boulder would always roll back to the bottom just before he reached the summit. I think the scale of the boulder in relation to the figure and the starkness of black/white rendering work quite well here although I wish I’d done more with highlights/shading, and perhaps the figure should be more hunched with effort.
