I’m not sure why I thought the chick would have a vaguely Cockney-type accent, but the idea tickles me. I’m quite pleased that the rough Sharpie application echoes its texture.
Today’s entry proper is this koala:
I can’t help thinking that it looks like the koala’s been caught by surprise. He’s rather sweet though. I’m glad I added the detail of the tree; given its nature and frequent depictions elsewhere, the koala would seem incomplete without it.
yes, the koala does look just a little bemused but I like the simplicity of it.
Thank you, I’m glad you think so! It was nice to do a pen/pencil animal that didn’t rely on heavy shading so much. I suppose given their habits most koalas look much more sleepy in reality…
